If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.

Therapy

In my therapy practice,  I work with adults, couples, and families. I draw on my expertise in a variety of clinical modalities, including Family Therapy and Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and self-compassion, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), The Developmental Model, Psychobiological Attachment Couple Therapy (PACT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I select stratgies to tailor a unique treatment plan and learning experience for every person I meet with. My services are covered by most extended health insurance plans.

Individuals

Counselling is a unique space where you can focus intently, and exclusively on yourself and your life experiences, in order to chart a direction for moving forward. My role as a therapist is to be your conversational guide in helping you to become more aware of what you already know about yourself and the ways in which you are trying to move your life in a positive direction.

Couples

In my therapy with couples, I work within two models. I combine the Developmental Model from The Couples Institute a and PACT, Psychobiological Attachment and Couple Therapy,

Women

As I have navigated many stages of a woman’s life, student, young therapist, mid and later career, mom, wife and grandma, I enjoy working with womens issues. My caregiving experiences have led to overload and burnout, such a common phenomenon for women in mid-life. From lived experience, I encourage women in my practice to carve out time for themselves to enjoy the things that light them up. We need to challenge outdated stereotypes of the smiling womn who does it all:

Family

My work with families now focuses on assisting parents to navigate concerns with their neurodiverse sons and daughters.
